Gold Mountains is an excellent use of the tempered glass medium of Vetro De Arte. The shifting layers of color seen here are given dimension by the glass, catching the light to bring the contours out. This picture appears like a shimmering curtain of gold, contrasting with dark areas and whites, then highlighted by gold leaf. You could almost reach in and take a cup of liquid gold away.
